The Octopus Uden is one of the largest rugby clubs in Holland and hosts the Hans Verstegen Pre-Season Tournament at it's home ground every year. A maximum of 20 teams play in 4 pool groups and all matches are played 15-a-side. All matches execpt the finals will be 12 minutes a half with a 1 minute break in between. The tournament is very professionally run with qualified referees, first aiders on standby. The club offers great hospitality off the pitch with a large clubhouse serving plenty of fresh food and drink. Teams are expected from France, Holland, the UK, Germany and prize money is given out to first, second and third place.

Coach Travel: Coach travel to Amsterdam takes around 5 hours from Calais after the ferry. If you're travelling from Northern UK then travel overnight, during the day or stop off en route to break the journey up.
