DIOK Leiden Easter Rugby Tournament
The DIOK Rugby Club in Leiden, one of the premier clubs in Holland, is organising a tournament over the Easter weekend from 21st till 23rd of March 2008. Since 1994, LRC DIOK has hosted an annual tournament which has grown from strength to strength over the years and is now ranked as one of the main events in the rugby calendar. The tournament is an established and successful tournament and this will be the 15th year that LRC DIOK has held a tournament at Easter. It is the only international tournament in Holland at Easter that has this history and pedigree. Teams from many different countries like Switzerland, Great Britain, Belgium, France and Germany showed interest in the 2008 edition.
Leiden's atmosphere is largely determined by the first university in Holland (1575) and its many students contribute to the lively atmosphere in the city.

The DIOK kitchen will be open all weekend offering food and snacks.

Accommodation for the Leiden Diok Rugby Tournament varies depending on your budget and requirements. You can stay locally near Leiden or choose to stay in central Amsterdam.
Travel Options
Coach Travel - The easiest and often cheapest way to get to Holland is by coach. Only 4 hours from Calais, Amsterdam is not far from Leiden and the tournament base. We have a range of 20, 30, 49 and 72 seater coaches waiting to take your rugby team to Holland in 2008.
Air Travel - The fastest way to get to Leiden is with the low-cost flights to Amsterdam from most local airports. We can arrange all resort transfers by coach to ensure that your travel plans are seamless. Flights are available from most UK airports and can be booked by Tours 4 Sport or you can book flights individually. Train travel is also available from Amsterdam Schiphol airport to Leiden 5 times an hour.
