Algarve Classic Vets Rugby Tournament in Portugal
Algarve Vets Rugby Tournament is a great tournament for some fun in the sun with your team whether you're a club, representative team or a social touring team as long as you're made up of Veterans players. This rugby tournament is for those men aged over 35 years in the twilight of their rugby career. So if your Vets team wants great hospitality, whilst enjoying the Portuguese sun with slightly competitive games then book a team for this exciting rugby festival. Plus, when the rugby finishes, the entertainment continues, with the exciting night life of the Algarve.
What could be better than playing rugby at one of Europe´s most beautiful destinations, Vilamoura, Algarve, with some of nicest beaches just a stroll away from your hotel. All the fixtures will be held at Vilamoura's Rugby Club on a lush grass pitch and the competition format of the Algarve Classics Rugby Tournament guarantees all teams competitive matches. The tournament is open to men's teams of age 35 and above. There will be two dispensations for player's under 35 but over 32. Each team is expected to play a minimum 20 minutes one way per game and play a minimum of
3 to 4 games.

Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive at Faro airport following your flight from the UK. Meet our friendly, bilingual guide who will escort you to your coach, which will transfer you to your accommodation.
Check in at the hotel.
Welcome get-together drinks in the evening and free time to explore the town.
Day 2
Transfer to tournament.
Full day of rugby.
Transfer to Vilamoura for tournament dinner and awards at a local restaurant.
Day 3
Departure day (3 day package) - transfer to airport and depart
Or free day (4 day package) - optional leisure activities can be arranged, such as golf, fishing, cruises etc.Free evening in Albufeira
Day 4
