TIK Hockey Tournament in Leusden, Holland 2009
WANTED: sociable veterans teams (mens, womens and mixed)
The TIK Hockey Tournament is one of the most popular veterans hockey tournaments held annually in the third weekend in June. With Mens, Womens and Mixed veterans hockey it's a social affair with plenty of good hockey and late entertainment. You can choose to camp on site or alternatively stay in a hotel nearby. Utrecht is only 20 minutes away if you want some city action.
There are 3 normal grass pitches and 2 astro turf. The tournament starts on Friday when teams are welcomed at 5.00 pm meeting. Later in the evening a disco tent will be in full swing and the partying carries on over the weekend until Monday morning or Sunday evening when it's time to pack your bags and look forward to next year.
Holland Accommodation
Accommodation for the TIK Hockey Tournament varies depending on your budget and requirements. You can stay on the tournament site or locally near Leusden or choose to stay in central Utrecht.
Holland Travel Options
Coach Travel - The easiest and often cheapest way to get to Holland is by coach. Only 4 hours from Calais, Utrecht is not far from Leusden and the tournament base. We have a range of 20, 30, 49 and 72 seater coaches waiting to take your hockey team to Holland in 2008.
Air Travel - The fastest way to get to Holland is with the low-cost airlines from most local airports. We can arrange all resort transfers by coach to ensure that your travel plans are seamless. Flights are available from most UK airports and can be booked by Tours 4 Sport or you can book flights individually.
