Westfield Saints Cricket Club Ice Cricket Tour 2007
Westfield Saints looked like they should have taken everyone to the cleaners with some robust batting in their first match against Informa CC [who were playing for Comic Relief]. Nursing some pretty heavy hangovers and feeling very charitable Westfield Saints went on to crash out in the group stages.
Something tells me it would be a whole different ball game on a proper wicket. They certainly made the most of their time in Tallinn and there was no match for their banter at the post-match banquet in Peppersak.
Here's what they said about their time in Tallinn: "We all had a great time over there and everything went extremely smoothly from the airport pick up, hotels, guide (Ulga was a great laugh and help), nights outs, activities, cricket and back to the airport again. The only disappointment was my teams all-round ineptness while playing cricket! That said we still had a great laugh and we are still chuckling about some of the incidents that happed on the tour."
