Village Idiots Ice Cricket Tour 2007

The Village Idiots CC are a social cricket team from Cheshire that were another late addition to the final Ice Cricket Tournament of 2007. Having missed the captains meeting at the Estonian Cricket Association HQ the night before, the Village Idiots arrived on the day of the tournament nursing huge hangovers and down to only 5 players. Tours 4 Sport MD, Daniel stepped in to lend a bowling arm and the team were soon on their way to the final where they saw off a very strong Ossett B side in a closely fought match.

At the start of the day, few would have thought that the Village Idiots would have emerged victorious but by the end of the day they were Ice Cricket World Champions!

We look forward to welcoming the Village Idiots back to Tallinn next year to defend their title.
