Sports Tours to Italy - Bella Italia!
Italy really does have something for everyone! History and culture, sporting excellence, long sandy beaches or high, rolling mountains and top quality nightlife. It has cities, lakes and beaches to rival anywhere else in the world, and the dedicated team here at Tours 4 Sport will help you get the most out of your tour to any of our Italian destinations. While football is their first love, rugby, hockey and cricket are all popular in various places throughout Italy. For more information on our rugby tours to Lecco, near Lake Como, click here

Rome is an incredible destination for a team sports tour, everywhere you turn in the city you are reminded of its past. The Romans have left some amazing landmarks that have been well-preserved, the most famous of which is of course the Colloseum which is well worth a visit. There are plenty of italian restaurants and excellent bars in the city centre and also along the banks of the river. Rugby, Football and Cricket teams can enjoy everything that Rome has to offer and you can be sure you won't be dissappointed.

Venice and Lido di Jesolo are only 30 minutes apart which makes Lido di Jesolo the perfect tour base for teams wishing to visit Venice. Sports facilities are in rather short supply on the Island so Lido di Jesolo is where we accommodate most of our teams. Lido di Jesolo is a great tourist resort with good, clean beaches and lively bars and clubs packed with locals and tourists alike. A day trip to Venice is included with every tour to the area and we recommend taking a trip up the San Marco tower as well as cruising the canals on a gondola.
Rimini and Ruccione are two of our most popular destinations in Italy thanks to their brilliant setting on the Adriatic coast. With brilliant beaches and clear warm waters, they are great tourist resorts and ideal for sports groups and Universities on tour. Strips of bars and clubs close to the seafront and many varied restaurants will keep your group entertained every evening and the beaces are a sure hit for your day off from your fixtures.

Florence is a beautiful city in its own right with several grand buildings and monuments including the Duomo (above centre) and the world renowned Uffizi gallery. The Pontevecchio (above right) plays host to a number of posh jewellery shops and cafes and the walk towards the Uffizi is lined with street entertainers including a brilliant mime artist. But don't be fooled by the quaint streets and beauty of the place, Florence is a vibrant city after dark. Most notably the Spleen Cafe sell the most potent cocktails known to man and there are plenty of late bars that will close at dawn.

Verona is mainly famous for Juliet's Balcony but it is a great city in it's own right with plenty of history, shops, bars and restaurants to please all tastes. The Castle on the hill overlooking the city is worth a visit as is the mini-Colluseum in the city centre that houses a huge concert arena. It's ideal for a team looking to relax before or after a hard season and only an hour and thirty minutes from Venice which is worth a day trip at least.
Milan is the fashion capital of Europe and also home to one of the most fierce sporting rivalries in the world: AC v Inter. Milan is a lively, vibrant city with plenty to do during the day and even more after dark. We can also arrange tickets and a tour for most matches at the San Siro which can turn your tour into something special as you see the passion that Italians hold for the beautiful game.
