Sports Tours to Brazil - Rugby and Soccer Tours
At Tours 4 Sport we always like to offer the latest tours and newest destinations to the loyal teams who go on tour with us year after year. Brazil, our latest sports tour destination is arguably the best undiscovered sports tour destination in the world, read on to see why.
We are the first sports tour operator in Europe to offer football tours, golf, tours, cricket tours and rugby tours to Brazil after the Brazilian Tourist Authority invited us to Rio di Janeiro to get a better understanding of Brazil in 2008. As a country Brazil has so much to offer touring teams from the UK and Europe with most sports tours centred around the lively cities of Rio di Janeiro and Sau Paulo.

Sports Tours to Rio di Janeiro
Rio di Janeiro is one of the most incredible cities in the world. There are very few cities who you can say that about but Rio has a little bit of everything. The beaches of Flamenco, Copacobana, Ipanema and Botafogo are vast, beautiful, packed with friendly locals and football pitches. Waves from the Atlantic roll in constantly and surf boards are available to hire from the local surf shops for some extra entertainment.
If you also want to combine your sports tour with some culture then Rio will not dissappoint, Christ the Redeemer watches over the city and is one of the seven wonders of the modern world. A trip up Corcovado to the statue is well worth it and the views from the top are only rivalled by the views from Sugar Loaf mountain which is accessible via cablecar. Take a boat trip on a Schoona boat to the fort where you can have lunch and go swimming in a nearby cove. Visit the Maracana football stadium where some of the most famous footballers in the world have played. Tickets to local games are often available.

If it's nightlife you're after then Lappa is the place to go out, where Samba bars sit next to modern dance clubs and locals can often be seen teaching the tourists how to dance. Copacobana and Ipanema have some lively nightspots and the seafront has small 24 hour bars serving everything from coconut milk to cheap beer.
Sports Tours to Sao Paulo and beyond...
Sao Paulo is a vibrant city and the business capital of Brazil with a population of over 10 million people. As a part of the Serra del Mar Sao Paulo is surrounded by tree-covered mountains and large rolling hills. Sao Paulo has a diverse cultural identity which leans heavily on Italian, Portuguese and Spanish influences. As a result there are hundreds of restaurants to choose from from Japanese to traditional Brazilian Churasscuria's (meat buffet).
When in Sao Paulo there are plenty of cultural excursions and attractions that you can visit including the Museum of modern art, Museo Paulista, the Formula One circuit and one of the many football stadiums. Combining a trip to Sao Paulo with a tour of Rio di Janeiro is a must as the two cities compliment eachother and givea great picture of Brazil.

If you want to stray off the beaten path then we can also offer excursions and trips to Fortaleza and Jericocoara in the North for some kite-surfing, sandboarding or dune safaris by 4x4. The Amazon is also accesible via Manaus if you'd like to add a nature safari to your sports tour.
Accommodation
We use a range of accommodation options from 3* to 5* hotels, detailed accommodation information will be given with each new itinerary. In Rio di Janeiro we use a range of hotels situated on Copacobana Beach or close to Ipanema beach.

Flights to Brazil depart regularly from the UK direct to Sao Paulo. Alternatively you can fly via Lisbon and even have a stopover there to take in the sights.
