Sports Tours to Belgium - Antwerp, Ghent and Brussels
Belgium is stuck with a reputation for being dull, but any tourist having visited will know this is far from the truth. Belgium is in fact lively, attractive and fashionable, and enjoys a strong historical and cultural heritage. It is a diverse country, influenced by those around it yet eager to assert its own independence, typified by the 3 languages spoken there, Flemish, French and German.

The two main cities, Brussels and Antwerp are becoming increasingly popular with rugby, football and hockey teams alike and many UK teams are entering Belgian sports tournaments this year.
Brussels boasts some excellent architecture, superb restaurants and busy cafés, as well as plenty of bars and pubs serving the broad range of strong Belgian beers. Getting to Brussels couldn't be easier as it's only 3 hours from Calais by coach and you can even stop off in Antwerp or Ghent on the way. Most of the nightlife is focused around the Grand Place and Rue de la Bourse with some great restaurants, and bars just off the main square. Everything you could want from a sports tour is contained within the walls of the city.
Antwerp is an old port town with a great nightlife, ideal for a lively senior or university sports teams. The city centre is fairly small with the Grote Markt packed full of pubs including a great Irish bar 'The Irish Times'. Schoenmarkt is one of the best shopping streets in Europe with plenty of stores to keep everyone happy. But if it's nightlife you want then start of in the Grote Markt then head north to the clubs and red light district in the North of the city. Don't miss Cafe d'Anvers a grand old church that has been turned into a huge nightclub!
For Schools and Junior sports groups we recommend Brussels and several great holiday parks in Belgium to keep kids of all ages entertained.
