Adult & University Rugby Tour to Cork

Rugby Tour to Cork

Cork is the second city in Ireland, and another warm Irish rugby welcome awaits on a rugby tour here. Cork has a feel good vibe amongst its residents, so it's a good time to visit and enjoy the 'craic'.  It is an easy city to explore on foot and has a great choice of lively pubs and bars. Munster Rugby play some of their fixtures at Musgrave Park and many of their players, past and present, have come from Cork. There is plenty to keep you occupied outside of the rugby and the pubs along Barrack Street, including a visit to the famous and picturesque Blarney Castle, the historic seaside town of Kinsale, or a Gaelic Football game. You might also want to visit one of the breweries or distilleries in the area, such as the Jameson distillery in Middleton. Our accommodation options are all central and within walking distance of nightlife.

Kinsale, just 30 minutes from Cork, is also home to one of Europe's largest and best rugby sevens tournaments, the Heineken Kinsale Sevens, which is held at the Snugmore grounds every May. The town is buzzing all weekend, so why not combine your end of season rugby tour with this tournament and enjoy the best Cork and Kinsale have to offer?

“A great time was had by all thanks and everything went off without a hitch. The rugby club really put a lot of work into the tournament and it is well run. On Sunday evening they put on a big awards ceremony with live music and dancers plus a sit down meal - a great rugby atmosphere and a good night was had by all. I will have no hesitation in recommending either yourselves or the event.”
