Ghent Rugby Club host this annual tournament over the Easter holiday weekend, attracting teams from the UK, Germany, Holland, France, Ireland. The tournament takes place close to central Ghent, on the pitches in attractive Blaarmeersen. Over 60 teams took part in 2014, playing in various age groups including 15-a-side and 7-a-side mens and womens tournaments. 2015 will be its 27th year. It is a well organised event with plenty of entertainment outside of the rugby, with most teams staying in Ghent itself, or the nearby cities of Antwerp or Bruges.

A long weekend at the Ghent Easter Rugby tournament, with plenty of rugby and socialising.
