As one of the few European destinations offering netballers serious competition, Malta is an excellent choice for an adult netball tour. The sport was introduced to Malta by members of the British forces serving in the country, and like the UK, it is still played in clubs and schools. Malta has a lovely, mild climate, which is typical of the Mediterranean, making it a suitable destination for any time of year, particularly from March to October. The best time for fixtures is between October and May during the netball season, but matches can be organised throughout the year. The country is known for being very safe and offers a host of tourist friendly hotels.
We only use high-quality hotels with swimming pools and social areas in which your players can enjoy their free time. Most adult groups are based in St Julians, which offers good nightlife and is a base for several of the netball clubs on the Island. As well as fixtures against local opposition, we offer a variety of additional activities, such as day trips to the capital, Valletta; boat and kayak trips to the stunning beaches of Gozo and Comino; and excursions to water parks.
